Studio · Eindhoven · A handful of new projects a year
§ About the studio

A studio.
One oak.

§ Manifesto · 2023

Bunduk is a small studio in Eindhoven, building websites, AI systems, and the quiet automations that keep companies un-stuck.

The name means “the small thing you carry.” That's how every project starts: a small thing, in a tote bag, in a Notion doc, in someone's head at 11pm. We carry it to the studio, and then we stay until it's an oak.

We pick a handful of new projects each year. We reply to every enquiry within a working day, with either a calendar link, or an honest “this isn't us.”

§ The studio

A small studio.
One direction.

Bunduk is a software studio. Not an agency, not a dev shop with a Slack channel called #general-2, not a deck factory.

Everything we ship goes through us: the brand direction, the architecture, the code review, the long arc after launch. You'll talk to the people who do the work, not an account manager who relays your messages to a back office.

It's a slower model. We pick a handful of new projects each year so we can stay on the ones we already have. That's the only way to grow software that outlives the launch.

§ How we work

Eight quiet
principles.

§ 01

We own the craft.

If you hire Bunduk, you get the studio. No farmed-out design, no offshored dev sprint.

§ 02

Small first. Always small first.

The first version ships in fourteen days. We'd rather plant something small and grow it than spend six months on a deck.

§ 03

We stay.

The launch is the start, not the end. We're still around at six months, twelve months, two years, tending what we planted.

§ 04

An honest "this isn't us."

We reply to every enquiry within a working day. Sometimes it's a calendar link. Sometimes it's a thoughtful "this isn't us. Here's who is."

§ 05

We write the code we ship.

No WordPress. No Shopify. No Webflow. We build the storefront, the system, the site, from the ground up, in your stack.

§ 06

Show your work.

You'll see the PRs, the design files, the deploy logs. Nothing happens in a black box. The first Wednesday of every month, we look at the numbers together.

§ 07

A handful a year.

We pick a small handful of new projects a year. That's how we can stay on the old ones. It's also how the work stays good.

§ 08

Plain spoken. Always.

No "synergy." No "10x." If we don't understand it, we ask. If we understand it, we say it.

§ The studio in numbers

Small enough to care.
Old enough to ship.
